DESCRIPTION:Volunteer Event at Mitteldorf Preserve \nThursday\, October 21 at 9:30am \nGet your gloves and join us Thursday\, October 21 at Mitteldorf Preserve removing eupatorium\, a plant native to Europe that can outcompete the natives by altering the soil composition and hydrology of the area. \nVolunteers will arrive directly at the Williams Canyon parking area inside the Santa Lucia Preserve at 9:00am\, where Hadley\, BSLT’s Preserve Manager\, will meet you. (Allow 45 minutes to drive form Monterey). \nIf you have not yet been at Mitteldorf Preserve\, please contact JC at jcnavarro@bigsurlandtrust.org for more information on how to get there. \nExpect to walk two easy miles into Mitteldorf Preserve\, where we’ll begin our work pulling eupatorium. \nSpace is limited\, so sign up today! \nThis event has passed.
