Bring your picnic blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy guided hikes\, educational activities and games\, and the chance to meet your local park staff. Visit the Discovery Center and learn more about BSLT’s Carmel River FREE project and our long history of partnering with and transferring land to Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. This is a free event and all are welcome. Spread the word\, and RSVP to let them know you’re coming!

DESCRIPTION:Mitteldorf Preserve Trail Work\nAssist our stewardship team in rebuilding\, restoring and cleaning Mitteldorf Preserve’s trails. Volunteers are needed to remove dilapidated foot bridges\, clearing dead trees/woody debris and trail cutting. Help us restore access to one of our gems adjacent to the Santa Lucia Preserve. Big Sur Land Trust will provide tools\, gloves\, instruction\, snacks and extra water. If interested\, please register below and we will contact you with further details.
