BSLT staff members Nikki Nedeff and Rachel Saunders will lead a guided tour of the site for the Carmel River Floodplain Restoration and Environmental Enhancement (Carmel River FREE) Project. This is an approximately 2.5-mile informational walk from the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District’s (MPRPD) new Discovery Center to the Palo Corona front ranch trails. On this moderate walk you will have an opportunity to envision the floodplain restoration of the former Odello agriculture fields as BSLT’s 128-acre property is transformed in the coming years.
Meet at 9:30 am at the MPRPD Discovery Center Parking lot (former Rancho Canada Golf Club parking lot) 4860 Carmel Valley Road, Carmel.
