Race for Open Space — Discounted Early Registration Available Now!
Now through December 31, early bird registration is 20% off for Race for Open Space 2026. We will host our annual trail running event on Saturday, May 9 on and around Palo Corona Regional Park’s backcountry with five courses: 1mi, 5k, 12k, 25k, and 35k+.

Experience the magic of Christmas in the Adobes, Monterey’s historical holiday celebration. Co-hosted by Monterey State Historic Park Association and California State Parks, this evening walking tour transforms more than 20 historic locations with glowing luminarias, festive décor, live music, and holiday cheer.
