Check out this brief story on the inspiration behind this powerful concerto and why John is dedicating this piece to the Esselen Tribe of Monterey County and all original peoples of the land now known as Big Sur.

The Race for Open Space is for people of all ages. Join us at Palo Corona Regional Park on Saturday, May 27 to raise funds for Big Sur Land Trust’s conservation and stewardship work throughout Monterey County. Sign up now or come down for onsite registration at 7:00AM

  • 8.5-mile or 9.5-mile Adventure Course for hikers and trail runners
  • 21-mile Adventure Course for trail runners
