Come on out to Night Market 831 tomorrow, Friday, November 3 at Sand City Art Park located at 525 Ortiz Ave., just up the road from Sand City’s main entry at Del Monte Blvd. and Contra Costa Street. This second anniversary edition will feature musical guests and over a dozen local art, food, and nonprofits like Big Sur Land Trust. Learn more >>
Healthy Soils at Marks Ranch Walk-and-Talk with Patrick Riparetti

Marks Ranch
During the Soberanes Fire in 2016 and most recently with the River Fire, Marks Ranch served as part of the incident command center. The land was impacted significantly by equipment and personnel. In our recovery efforts, Big Sur Land Trust partnered with the California Marine Sanctuary Foundation to initiate a three-year Healthy Soils Program project at Marks Ranch. The documentary showcasing Composer in Residence John Wineglass’ creative process of his most recent Monterey Symphony commission, Sacred Land: Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, will be screened before the Symphony’s concert, Pfeiffer.
