Celebrate Earth Month & Arbor Day with a hike or an event!

Mitteldorf Preserve & Marks Ranch Open for Hiking

There’s no better way to celebrate Earth Day/Month and Arbor Day than getting outdoors! And we have the perfect spots for you to get grounded with Mother Earth and experience the wild beauty of our nature preserves. Mitteldorf Preserve has reopened so treat yourself to a walk in the redwoods or head to Marks Ranch and walk in the wildflowers. Reserve your hike here.

In support of our neighbors in Palo Colorado Canyon and Big Sur, we have suspended hiking at Glen Deven Ranch. Reducing traffic on Highway 1 and through the canyon is important during these challenging times. We appreciate your understanding!

Using a nature-based green infrastructure approach, it will reclaim the southern floodplain to direct water away from developed areas north of the river. Our hike will be a slow-paced, staff-led tour of this project site. We will host two groups that will be leaving at either 9:00am or 10:00am. Learn more >>
