We’re dedicated to creating access to outdoor spaces for all by working with our community to restore nature to the heart of Salinas. Your support through MCGives! will help transform the 67-acre floodplain at Ensen Community Park at Carr Lake into a vibrant network of wildlife habitats and walking trails. This green sanctuary will support native pollinators, attract birds, and provide a welcoming recreational and educational space for everyone to enjoy.

Planting Pollinator Habitat at Marks Ranch

Join us on Friday, January 17 or Saturday, January 18 for a fun day of planting milkweed to create a welcoming environment for our pollinator friends at Marks Ranch! We’ll be getting our hands dirty while helping to support the local ecosystem. No green thumb required – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
